Translations

  1. (intransitive) to visit, go to (and return), attend (a place) [with inessive or adessive]
    käydä kirkossa ― to attend church
    käydä katsomassa ― to go take a look
    käydä kotona ― to drop by home (e.g. to grab something that was accidentally left behind)
    käydä luona, käydä kylässä ― to visit (someone's house)

    1. (intransitive) to go do (and come back) [with adessive]
      käydä kahvilla ― to go for a coffee
      käydä kakalla ― to poo
