Demonstrative pronouns are words, such as “this” and “that”, which a speaker can use to refer to an object or objects directly and specifically.

Typically spoken pronouns become condensed but some don’t change at all. In many cases the last letter or syllable may also be dropped entirely depending on context, situation, or perhaps how fast someone is talking.
