Approximate numbers

There are a couple of ways to approximate numbers, with "Noin (number)" typically being the most common and safest route for clarity.

Using “parisen” for “about 2” and “kolmisen” for “about 3” is quite common, but going beyond this seems to become somewhat rarer when compared to using “noin” followed by a number. In most cases it can be generally safer to stick with “noin” for clarity.
